Your work is beautiful! How do I begin the process of enlisting your services?

It depends on what makes you feel the most comfortable. You could send us an an email or call with a general inquiry. You can also fill out this form. We offer a comprehensive free consultation and analysis. We'll take a look at your project and make recommendations about how we could most be of service. We have project planning worksheets we will send to help get the ball rolling. Once you are satisfied you'd like to work with us, we agree on the details and put it all down in a contract. Then the fun really begins!

How long will it take you to design a website for me?

Obviously, alot depends on how complex you see the site, and how prepared you are when we begin. If you already have a well established brand identification (logo) and content from publicitiy materials it will probably only take a couple of weeks. If we are starting from scratch, it could be up to a month or more. Each site we build is a custom job; we DON'T use templates. This is a collaborative process and your participation greatly affects the speed at which we can progress. We have methods to assist you in providing us with the information we need to succeed.

Will you provide me with the files in a digital format when you complete the job?

We pride ourselves in providing all the materials our clients need to ensure a flawless, hassle free experience. We are happy to work as a liaison with your other vendors to guarantee they have the files in the format(s) they need to get your job done. Issues of copyrights, intellectual property ownership, and terms of use will be plainly spelled out in our contract with you. This protects your business or organization.

Why do I see the name TempleDogDesigns at the bottom of some of your webpages?

TempleDogDesigns was the name of our web and graphic design business when we first started building websites. We have decided to use that name for our video production company and have chosen the name Dooryard & Downstreet to reflect our committment to building niche websites in Vermont, for Vermont.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We have an account with PayPal and can handle all the transaction details online. You can pay by credit card or with a direct draw from your bank if you already have an account with PayPal (or would like to set one up). We also accept personal/business checks through the mail. Our contract with you will outline the terms of scheduled payments. Generally, we require a 50% deposit of the estimated total to begin work, with the balance due upon completion. If you are a Vermont resident, we will design a three page website on spec with no deposit. Target deadlines and your satisfaction with our progress are always part of that equation.
